My First Bluetooth ANC headset (Pocket Friendly, Great with value for Money)
MPOW H5 is a SUB $50 category headphone which can be easily considered as a normal headphone at this range. Truth is, it is not…… I was also bit skeptical about the price and effectiveness of ANC at this price range. H5 is actually a gem for its price.
Fit
Frankly, H5 does not look great when you see them on somebody else’s head. But they are far too comfortable and can be used for longer periods. May be bit more care is required as headband seems to crack under Pressure. hmm.. no complains till now… The ear-pads are comfortable and gives good cushioning. Sweating due to heat was relatively less.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
H5, is Bluetooth headphone with ANC which is impressive technology. Though I have experienced ANC with BOSE, Mpow does deliver a value for money here. Sound isolation is near perfect.
Sound
Bass loverssss, it is booommmm… There is way big difference when ANC is switched ON and OFF. Sound is clear and not cracking in higher volumes (say till 75%). Though Bass is dominant, sound too is very vivid. For phone calls too, no complaints from any of the caller, so seems that quality is good.
Battery
I started using H5 immediately after unbox and may have used for around 12-15 hours without another recharge (With ANC ON). So 15 hours or so is definitely available.
H5 is worth the price and don’t burn a hole in pocket. Great BT headphones and I am loving it…
